One of NCC’s first community initiatives is the Leaders of Tomorrow summer internship program, a paid internship that gives students valuable work experience, coaching, and connections for future careers. The program aligns interns with mentors who provide career coaching and one-on-one advisement for successful integration with NCC’s client teams. Interns have the opportunity to work on projects curated to their background and personal goals and objectives in the government and/or commercial sectors. The program provides exposure to real-world transformation projects in domains such as health care IT, informatics, analytics, revenue capture, program management, electronic health record implementation, and data visualization. In addition to gaining direct project skills, interns can develop relationships with key leaders within the provider, payer, and government space. We also provide job placement assistance for summer interns.
NCC participates in and sponsors events that align with our mission and commitment to supporting the nation’s Veterans and service members. Participation in activities such as Honor Flights to welcome Veterans to Washington, DC, and strategies to automate giving to nonprofit partners are just some of the ways NCC engages the community.
We are always striving to give back to the community in innovative ways. We launched GiveBackRx, a prescription discount card that not only provides consumers savings on prescription drugs, but also presents a unique opportunity for them to donate to their chosen charity.
