Doctor Nguyen began her career as an Emergency Room (ER) physician and has subsequently held positions as Senior Medical Director, Chief Medical and Executive Officer, and President and Partner for a variety of companies where she has left a lasting positive impact. Instrumental in creating clinically integrated networks and dedicated to supporting managed care initiatives and clinical quality and patient satisfaction measures, Dr. Nguyen currently leads the industry as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President at the LHC Group. Dr. Nguyen also consults as an Industry Best Practice Advisor (IBPA) for National Coordination Center (NCC). Dr. Nguyen received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at Dallas.

As CEO of NCC and its supporting shared services entity, Edera, Dr. Kevin Carr leverages more than 20 years of experience in patient care and health care consulting to develop and execute clear and viable strategies that improve health care practices and processes for patients. His career includes a role as Chief Medical Information Officer for Waterbury Hospital, serving on the Yale School of Medicine faculty, and holding a number of leadership positions as an executive health care consultant for Deloitte Consulting, Connected Health of Accenture, and Price Waterhouse Management Consultants. Dr. Carr’s latest endeavor is forming a multi-stakeholder collaborative to implement a charity care network with centralized-care management services for uninsured patients. Dr. Carr received his Doctor of Medicine at University of Alabama School of Medicine, completing both his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.
